We would like to invite creative practitioners and artists to apply to join our ad hoc tutor program.
Over the next 6 months, we will be delivering our Lottery Community Fund Covid response program, featuring online activities and groups, outdoor socially distanced art and craft activities, as well as community engagement and outreach activities to those most isolated and vulnerable.
Do you have artistic workshop ideas that could help build self-confidence and a healthy mindset in these current times?
At Awenek Studio we encourage all ages from 2-92, to try something new, and even if they don’t feel like an artist, have a go and enjoy the relaxing and inspiring process of creating together.
Have a look at our website and Facebook page for examples of the work we do and if you think you have a creative idea that you know would inspire and get people creating, then get in touch and let us hear all about it.
The successful applicant to the program will have:
- Experience in creative practice
- Be fully DBS checked to work with children, families and vulnerable adults.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Passionate about inspiring people
As our project is grant-funded you will be expected to adhere to funding requirements.
