Red Tent on the Rame is a safe, empowering space where those identifying as a woman gather, to listen to each other without judgement and to live in tune with themselves. This is about women of open minds to meet their own needs, to respect and understand their bodies, and to fuel their well-being by the accepting and supportive company of other women, feeling and offering solace and sisterhood.
One Sunday a month, 3pm to 6pm.
Awenek Studio, Maker Heights.
£4 per person suggested donation (to go towards location hire and any purchase of snacks to share during the gatherings as well as some materials and towards future events).
We are holding these Red Tents on the Sunday closest to the New Moon, a wonderful time to set our intentions and plant the seeds of our heartfelt desires.
If you would like to come along to one of the monthly gatherings, select the date on our Facebook event page and mark yourself as ‘Going’. It may be that numbers need to be limited for practical reasons, so we will confirm with a private message before the event.
On the day, doors open at 2.30pm and will close at 3pm.
Arrive by 2.50pm to ensure you have time to settle. We’ll be sat down on cushions for some of the session so suggest you wear comfortable clothing. Also, something to write on and with can be useful.
Red Tent on the Rame welcome all those who identify as a woman no matter their background.
We are a co-led, volunteer group, by local women for local women. You are welcome to attend and soak up these nourishing gatherings, which are organised by our Steering Sisters, a group of women who take it in turns to hold these Red Tents bringing their own experience and skills forward for the entire group to benefit from. If you would like to be part of the Steering Sisters, do get in touch. We welcome ideas, feedback and your experience from all walks of life.
